So, we are finally in Edmonton. It was such a long plane ride. Security was a breeze for some of us and for others... well... not so much. For having three babies on our plane it was actually a pretty quiet flight. Quiet but long.
When we arrived in Edmonton the weather was very cloudy and warm with a bit of a breeze. Luckily, this time nobody lost their luggage. Once everyone had their luggage and the parents had rounded up the vans we headed for the open road. It took us a long while to find the exact location of where we were staying. Then we had to sing everyone in and check into our rooms. Our rooms were beautiful. We had our own double bed, our own TV, phone, AND EVEN OUR OWN BATHROOMS!!!
Once we had our stuff put away in our rooms it was time to grab a bite to eat. Since there were not yet any groceries we went out for lunch. After lunch we took a trip to Costco. Wanda, Gerry and Mary went inside while Cleveland stayed outside with three van loads of kids. After that Gerry took us to a farm where there was a corn maze. At this farm there were cows, goats, cats, a dog, pigs, and a bunny. The farm itself is over a hundred years old.
After we went toe the farm we had to stop at superstore to pick up the few things that we could not get at Costco. The parents also picked up supper. We had 3 different types of cold salads, roasted chicken, and very yummy bread rolls. After supper we had a debriefing, collected our things and went to bed.
At the moment it is now 11:15pm our time (which is 2:15am your time). Today was a very long day, and even though I cannot speak for my fellow spurs I know that today was a lot of fun. From: Tiffiany Marson

All together I think the first day was long and tiring for us all but we had a blast in the corn field, through our trip there was a long tiring journey back and forth to find we went the wrong way then we’d go the other way only to realize we were in error once again ,long story short we finally got on the correct course and the end result consisted of a gorgeous dog who loved his rocks , two baby goats, two kittens and their papa and one corny maze and a heck of a lot of fun.
